Sharkfin Antenna
There are more and more cars that are coming with stock sharkfin antenna's.
Does anyone know of any aftermarket sharkfins that will work with existing antenna bases? I'm thinking instead of getting stubby antenna to get a sharkfin that is functional, not that dummy ones from ebay! Thanks |

Re: Sharkfin Antenna
I thought the sharkfins were for XM or Sirius satellite radio...

Well I installed an aftermarket functional shark fin few days ago! The built-in antenna screws directly into my antenna base, and the paint matched shark fin shell fits overtop of all of it with 3M adhesive gasket. Don't have to shave the rear antenna base off ... so there are no holes in the roof! And can easily go back to stock as well!
I'm happy! Last edited by arfman; 11-12-2005 at 01:01 AM. |
