DTC Codes PO731 and PO700
I have a 99 Mits' Eclipse GS Automatic, which is popping the above listed codes. I believe the car is stuck in second gear, since it is hesitant at first when you step on the throttle, and will reach to about 60MPH at 5500RPM, and will not shift. We have had problems similar to this in '03 which turned out to be a Shift Position Sensor ( I think )
Does any one have any idea what this may be before I go sink money I don't have at the dealership???? Any help is greatly appretiated!
