Post In-progress: For the NSX fans, 2003 JGTC NSX

I can't believe it! I'm building a non skyline model! Actually, this one started by my friend. He gave up this project because the putty was too hard for him. So he gave it to me to finish it up.

His work:
-put the putty on the front fender
-sidestep
-research

My work:
-make the headlight
-remake the front
-modify the rear
-shape up the putty he putted on

Still need more work on the headlight. Only half of the front is "in shape".

I'll make it into the Arta test car version, but no logo.

Is it legal for you to build something other than a Skyline?

You're just building it so you'll have something for all the Skylines to beat. Is that it?

Any pics of the 1:1 test car? Are we looking forward to an all c/f test mule?

Awesome. Don't worry about it not being a Sklyine, NSX's are just as cool any day. All us Honda fans are no doubt waiting with bated breath to see what kind of mad skill you apply to this machine.

It's JGTC... let's say you're forgiven!!!
The only thing that will change is that now you'll become the NSX Queen too!!!! And add a lot more of virtual lovers!

Lot of work has been done, but even more to come. Keep it on! Sure we'll folow this thread as passionately as we've done for your others before....

I'm sure you'll produce another stunning piece.

The white will help show off the hard work and modifications you'll be doing.

Black seems to hide and mute details.

Damm! You beat me to it.

This was going to be my next project after completing the Supra that I am now working on. Doing the same with that-converting a Studio 27 2001 JGTC version to the 2003 spec car, I'll start a progress thread soon on this.

Back to the NSX though, I was planning on building the Mobil 1 Tamiya version and blending in some parts from one of Fujimi's updated kits e.g. headlights, front bumper, rear lights.

One question: does the Tamiya version have a large square cut out in the back window for the air scoop?

I shall be watching your progress with much interest on this one. Good Luck

Steve

You need to keep adding putty. It doesnt look like a Skyline yet.

Well, I guess it doesnt have to. You could call it a customized Skyline. I'm expecting another great detailed build here!
