Hi peepz!

1st tym ere......i got a 100nx 1.6L, i wanna do sum big changes on it like engine change. gtiR , bb det...which am i betta wit n r they compatible wit the car i.e. size n all that shit.

i dnt like doin' small mods such as timming, tuning, pulley etc cus u only get wot ! bout 10-20 bhp. i'd rather sell the nx n get a bigger motor but the nx is rare n diff from other peepz wit der vti's.

so plz lemme know

p.s. i've screw the shit outta nx n need more bhp from it...especially wen i get whipped by my mates civic vti....so plz help me give him a shock.

The SR20DET engine out of the U12 Bluebird is the engine you need because it has the same engine mounts so it will bolt straight in.

IS THIS A 2.0 TURBO OR A 1.8 TURBO ?...WOT WILL B THE 0-60 TYM ONCE ITZ IN THE NX (HOPE ITZ NOT 8 SEC, CUZ I NEED 2 GO FASTER AROUND 7-6 SECS).N AFTER ALL THE MODS IN THE U12 WOT BHP WOULD I GET.

The SR20DET engine is a 2.0L and it makes around 215bhp. The NX coupe is a pretty small and light car so you can expect 0-60 times of about 7 seconds, but that is an estimate so dont hold me on that one.

hey guys read your previous info...i also have a nx 1600
want to convert it to a sr20det blubird
do i need the nx 2000 harness and computer or will the 1600 harness and computer work...i been looking for the motor and i want to know if i should buy it with atrans or not..????

Im pretty sure that the gearbox from the SR16 will match up pretty close with the SR20DET, but I cant honestly tell u. You will need the ECU from the SR20DET and it would make life a hell of a lot easier if the engine you get had a properly cut harness attached to it.

I have a 96 nx with the same engine....but HP numbers are 140 hp ....NO where NEAR 215hp.

Do you realize that the HO Mustang 5.0liter makes 225hp....do you HOW much Hp 215 is?
wholly if this motor or the supercharger exists for it pls let me know.

NOT a light car by any means....but small and nice handling.
I love mine....but only have wet dreams of 215 hp.

The SR20DET makes 215hp. It is a 2.0L turbo engine. It can be put into your NX and make your wet dreams come true.

My car had 7 second 0-60 times before I turbocharged it.

Now I have an SR20DET engine, which is 205 hp, stock. The GTi-R engine is 227 hp stock. 0-60 times should be in the 5-6 second range easily.

The NX2000 was produced from 1991-1993. Are you sure you have a 1996?

No supercharger. Lots of factory turbo engines that bolt in pretty easily.
