jdm cluster

I just got my jdm cluster for my 94civic manual. I took out the stock cluster and I took for four (4) plugs out from the back. When I go to intsall the jdm one I can only put two plugs in which are the mane ones. But what are the other two plugs for? from the stock cluster? One is green and the other yellow.

Something tells me those are the fuel and temp gauge plugs... Everything should be plug and play though, you sure you got a 5th gen JDM cluster?

1) The SRS light should stay on for approx 6 secs and then cut off. If it stays on then it's registering a problem (perhaps because some plugs aren't plugged in??)

2) The EG6 i believe was the SiR/SiR II i believe? I don't know how the SiR compares to the EX, but i am pretty sure about what the EG6 is - maybe that'll at least help someone else answer the question =)

Well I put my stock ones on and it works fine, as for the SRS like you said comes on for a couple of seconds and then its off. With the jdm one it just stay on. I looked on the back of the jdm cluster and I see two spots where some plugs could go but their just empty. Like if it was an option to get. My ex cluster light (brake, seatbelt,SRS,and check engine all are full up.If you look at a civic dx cluster your going to see that some are blank becuase it didn't come with that option. SRS or ABS.
And yes their are two plugs that don't get plug in the jdm cluster green and yellow. Do you know if any of the civic in japan came with SRS?
Do you know what the 92-95 SI-R civic EJ-1 is?

Like everyone already stated, it's plug and play. I have one in my coupe and all I did was unplug the USDM one and plug in the JDM one. If there are any problems then you bought a faulty one.

I've noticed that the Jdm cluster has the fuel low warning light, is that functional? It sucks that the USDM doesnt have that feature. Is it really worth it the to replace USDM with the JDM cluster? Just wondering that's all.

The light is functional but you have to run your own wiring. The only reason is for the simple fact you have the JDM one. The reason behind me getting on is so I could just know when my JDM B16 is actually at redline. I have a programmed ECU and the rev limiter is at 9100 so instead of watching how far I can ride in the USDM one I just shift when I hit red on the JDM one. No clock sized tach w/ a big, bright ass shift light for me.

..something I wish I could get rid of
There would be big ugly holes in my dash if I took it out, and I have no clue how to fix.

About the cluster, you got the incorrect one. Or, you could always post pics...

It's understandable for a car that has none but if a car already has an OEM tach. It's just not my flavor. I like that OEM shit.
