Porsche 918 Spyder

Pretty much everytime Revell brings a new kit to market, i am pretty tepmted to start building it as soon as i can. Same story with the 918 Spyder.

For a look in the box klik here

Because of the video's i make on Youtube, some company's have contacted me asking to use their products in my video's. Just like Plamos, they made some prety awsome wheels for Revells BMW i8 klik, And they did it again for the Porsche 918 Spyder klik and klik

I already made a start on the first wheel set.

Nice! I'm building one too. Why on earth did Revell make the engine cover mesh decal gold? From what I can tell, its supposed to be black.

I would not have a clue, thoug i think they only did that on the Weissach pack kit.

In the kit i'm building the decals is a titanium silver color.

Finished the other set of Plamoz 918 Wheels

Re: Porsche 918 Spyder

Very nice, a big improvement I think. Even sized properly, I'm not really a fan of the original 918 wheels. Every time I see them, I think of this-

Clarkson's wheels- (probably not safe for work)

The clear looks amazing, doesn't even look like it needs sanding. Great job as always.

Great start, I can't seem to find the plamos products? Any distributors in the US or anywhere?

Just order them from Plamoz site. I just ordered 2 sets before Christmas, took about 9 days from Hong Kong to Canada. Both sets, including shipping were about $31.00 US.

I got the Wessaich set and the Corvette Cup set, both are beautiful and well crafted. You wont be disappointed in their products.

Tom, nice work on the 918, I've been checking out your videos, and that blue looks awesome, keep up the good work.

Re: Porsche 918 Spyder

Nice beginning !

I am quite happy to discover that someone has a solution for the problem of Revell's too small wheels. It was the main problem to finish m i8 (I lacked motivation to modify the plastic wheels of the box), now it will be OK. Thanks for the tip !
