Mitsubishi Lancer EvoX R4 "Spici/Tom"
Hi guys!
Long since I wanted to have a EvoX R4 model. The Hungarian Csaba Spitzmüller-Tamás Szőke pairs have raced in 2012 at Romanian Rally Championship. The model is the version of Timis Rally, where they have reached the 2. Position with the EvoX! I could take some pictures of the car at the test in 2011, these pictures have helped me in my work. Thanks to Tomi Szőke for the logos! Thanks for looking! |

Incredible work!!! Very clean and nice!!! How you did that? What kit and what parts you were using to get rally car from the civil version?

Re: Mitsubishi Lancer EvoX R4 "Spici/Tom"
Wow took me a second to realize if that was a real car or the model. How did you achieve the wood affect?

Re: Mitsubishi Lancer EvoX R4 "Spici/Tom"
I agree with Derek above on the pictures. What a stunning build. After looking at it for a long time I finally realized that this is actually not a 1:1 car, but rather a model of it. Superb. Usually the gaps between panels and especially the rounded edges leading into those gaps give it away. But these appear to be super flat / smooth.
Excellent! |

Re: Mitsubishi Lancer EvoX R4 "Spici/Tom"
Oh yes superb work, some pics are really misleading as they could be from the real car !!
amazing, everything is well done. I would be happy to hear more about your modifications and parts source (roof scoop, seats, rims...) as I'm thinking to eventually build once the Henk Vossen Helichem mitsu evo as I've been seeing him in germany for years with this nice livery (existing in 1/43 scale so that could be my start) |

I can only agree with the preceding comments; this is a superb model!! I would be particularly interest to know what wheels you used.
