Ferrari 458 GT3 1/24

hi there,
here again with another body project . this time it will be the nice Ferrari 458GT3,and I would like to finish it in the aggressive livery fetured by Valentino Rossi with monsters logo:



the build up of the body will be similar to the previous model I did about the GT2 car used by AF Corse,posted in this forum time ago.

Interesting project....a GT3 kit of the 458 is long overdue frankly (I want to do this car too!!) - can't believe one hasn't been done already (and the Audi), I'll be following this for sure...

I dont have plans to cast this body.
Before I also would like to see how it comes out...cause so hard conversions are always a big challenge.
A major issue is around wheels, even if I think they could be made soon in 3dprinting (maybe mike from scaleprod?).




It is a wonderful car, and is a must in a collection of racers,together with the gt2 car.
Even searching documentation I ended looking at VAD design from uk. Seems they produce a full bodykit to make a streetlegal 458 looking alike very very similar to a gt3 racer. In their nice website they also have strange and very cool alternative versions for rwb porsches, with ducktail. too cool stuff really.

Between their nice pics they also place interesting details of the parts to be scratchbuild or converted for the racer version:

thats a great news for anyone wants to add it in collection. Usually carrera body are very nicely welldone, and also the price for the complete car seems fair.It is surely a great opportunity to start a display model.

firso of all then, let me introduce a little friend helping me a lot in those works.

silver tape is used to protect corner sharpness and panel lines from milliput build up..





after using a lot my previous friend with bbs wheels u get this shape..
