stock vs stock, quite a bit (1/4 mile.)
modified, the type s can catch up to a stock s2k pretty easily (i/h/e/hondata would push it past it easily)

the cl is mid 14's so its going to take jus i/h/e/clutch/cams (non-tuned) to pull that off. for the s2k, it CAN run as low as high 13's (all after 2000), so ur looking at jus a bit more of a build. prolly would take i/h/e/clutch/cams/cam gears dyno tuned to make it past that. they aren't rockets, but they get up an move quite well...

Dear Mr. VTECH:
Can you change your af name? Its a little embarrasing.... NSX>S2000>CL type S>Accord 6speed>RSX-S>ITR>Prelude S=GSR>Civic Si 99>Civic si 03-04>EX>DX

Re: CL Type-S vs Integra Type-R??
Speed is relative. The ITR would smoke probably any of the Acura/Honda lineup through the twisties (unless a professional was driving the NSX). The NSX is the unquestioned king of the lineup on the freeway. The CL-S 6 speed would be second on the E-Way, and the S2000 third. The S2000 would take a CL-S in the 1/4 mile, mind you, not by much, but not in a 1/2 mile race. Accelerating at High speeds start showing that torque does matter. It's all relative to what you're looking for.

I'll lay the issue to rest. I drive a 2000 ITR and I raced a CL Type S and I took it but just by a little, it was a pretty close race.

Re: CL Type-S vs Integra Type-R??
Pseudomaniac- An Itr wont stay close on the twisties against an s2000 or an NSX. Come on man, ever hear of rear wheel drive?
Dont care if the type R is the best handling front wheel drive in the world (which it is) but dont compare it to an s2000 or an NSX. Those are REAL sport cars. ITR, PRELUDE, SI are sportie cars.

The TL is pretty fast though considering it is a luxury car...just wondering, what type of mods would raise the HP on the TL (approx 50 HP)

Re: CL Type-S vs Integra Type-R??
The type r shoulda won no problem, unless the cl was modded, which it prolly was, otherwise the nerd in the cl would have never challenged the type r
