Nice start - should look good next to your pink pig build.

Re: Porsche 917LH Martini
It looks like you are making an excellent job of the body, that design is tricky to do!
I notice that you have shown a couple of pictures of the "restored" car. I hope i am not telling you something you already know, but there are a couple of area,s that do not match the original finish. The rear wing was painted matt black, not blue as shown on the museum car. Also the area around the grill on the nose was also black, again the museum car is finished silver. There is also a 917 painted in the same livery in the museum at Le Mans, both are said to be the original car! Keep up the excellent work. |

Re: Porsche 917LH Martini
Thanks for the advice, but I already know that, and I'll reproduce the car that raced in 71 with the points you notice. Pictures are there just for reference.
Regards, Denilson

Re: Porsche 917LH Martini
I can't help but stand in awe of your painting skill, your ability to mask and paint complex paint schemes leaves me in wonder. I also appreciate the way you've been sharing your techniques, it's giving me courage to try some more complex schemes myself.

Re: Porsche 917LH Martini
Freakray and Shayne, thanks for your kind words. Not an easy job to mask this model, but is the only alternative because Fisher decals are so bad. Some friends in Brazil asked me for a "masking tutorial", I'll compile some photos and will share the tutorial soon.
Finished placing decals ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Regards, Denilson
