1/8 HISPANO SUIZA aero engine

Hi guys!

My new challenge.
An HISPANO SUIZA engine for a SE 5a Museum Series of Hazegawa...

The real engine:

The way of Hasegawa, only one of cylinder head_before surgery_no crankcase, no oil sump, no carburetor, no plumbing... Just that you can see on the ended model, no more!

Of course I can understand. Take a look to the crankcase only:

Well, I had to find a solution...
Let's go, my way:

Some parts to wear the skeleton...

That's all folks today!
Cheers, Dan.

Yikes...looking amazing already Dan!

Oddly enough, I've just finished drawing up plans for a 1/8th Daimler Benz DB 603 engine, (though it will be for a car! ;-)

Crazy Man! I can't believe you thought it in this skeleton way! Can'y wait to see more. I got a 1/16 Hase Wright Flyer and I have to say it looks a masterpiece still in box.

To icon modeler, after the plane, a car or a boat maybe? Why not?

Well, some progress, and take a look to the size of the beast:

In fact it's a "master". Will be moulded in white metal;
