Lancia Beta Gr. 5, ESCI/Heller, 1/24
Another one finished.

Italian car with Martini stripes - that's something I just have to build. I accidentally bought the short tails first, luckily I managed to get hold of a slightly started long tail in the classified thread here. The kit is about 30 years old, has nice Details, but the fit is not the best. The rear cowling is just put on loosely on top of the car, most parts have to be glued on without any holding pins, sometimes you have to guess where to glue it on. Dry fit is almost impossible, so I have an excuse that not everything fits...

The kit decals were slightly yellowed as you see on some logos, but the stripes were to old and stiff to be usable. For those I used pattos decals... the stripes are not a perfect fit and the logos were printed too coarse, that's why I used the original ones there. The Martini logos are from a Martini decal set I got a while ago. I added some wires, belts and the mesh at the rear.

Painted with TS26, 29, Alclad and Future as clear since the pattos decals are sensitive to clear.

Pure spirit of group 5. I have a box of the ERTL ESCI unbuilt for now , but i will eventualy do the red car with white stripes .

Another great build from you.
And yes, the Martini livery looks great on everything, especially Italian cars.

That build looks so clean (considering the problems you've described here and on MB). I love it.
Also the detail on the engine and interior looks very nice.

Hi : I have an esci lancia and a resin lancia that has cartograph martini decals, I want to build the Heyer fruit of the loom for a future project but I just can't find the ronal rims.

Good job looks real nice !!

as an ESCI collector I love it, as a great fan of Gr.5 It's fabulous.
