21R at Modena Trackdays 2011

Almost like clockwork, #21R participated in the Modena Trackday at the Nürburgring again this year.

Given the fact that at least three of our regulars were apparently in attendance, I didn't expect to be the one to have to start this thread.

So anyway, here it is - please add to it if you can.

In my opinion the GTR has nothing in common with the roadcar. The roadcar (btw: my rides were in #018 and #040) is mostly about acceleration, sound and emotion whereas the GTR is pure dynamic. The engine makes a quite similar noise but the straight cut gearbox is even louder. What impressed me most are those carbon brakes. They are that strong that is difficult to keep your head upright. Also the cornering speed is absolutely stunning - way faster than it is possible with road tyres. Although I like the short-tail more, the massive grip caused by the aerodynamics of the longtail is simply breathtaking - to be honest: I cannot stand more ...

Hello,

like I said to Erik, #21R encountered a fuel problem at the end of thursday after make a lot of laps around 2.04 and i think one about 1.57 but not sure.
Maybe some friends have the picture when it stops. Lanzante team was worried to do not see Christian glasel come back and recieve a call. then it was tow.

Faster than MC12 Corsa & FXX.

I have a problem with my memory card I don't arrive to go out of my PC

Absolutely fantasic to see this JJ's ex-racer again in action at Nurburgring!
JJ won with this car Helsinki's race 1997, so very welcome shots atleast to me.!

These days; when you see these images taken today like Goodwood Thread; I feel so great to be here this Forum. Man this is superb to see these cars in action, today!
