Re: Hasegawa BMW E36 318 JTCC Reissue!!!

That's kid of tempting- I have a serious thing for the E36. I have the street version of Hasegawa's 318i (that may just get finished sooner or later). Would look great next to a JTCC version, wouldn't it?...

Re: Hasegawa BMW E36 318 JTCC Reissue!!!

To have again FIA Class II (BTCC/JTCC/STW/CET...) models is always a great new.

I hope TK and decal manufacturers take advance of this reissue to offer liveries for this model with so many possibilities (Bastos at SPA 24h, Castrol at Italy, Endless in Japan, Teo Martin at Spain... are a few examples).

For the moment, first brand to move ahead is Studio27 with a TK and two deco, but at this moment San Miguel version looks wrong as it raced under 1994 aero specifications, not 1993 as the kit comes.

Fortunately, MSM Creation will offer the same San Miguel deco with new fenders, side sills and rear wing in resin (and really cheap), that will let to create almost any 1994 version.

The other two MSM items are 1993 Watson's (perfect fot the kit as it's the same aero kit) and 1995 STW / Macau Guia Race, out of stock at this moment.

Last option I know is DMC, with two deco for 1996 BTCC works FINA and ADAC STW Jagermeister versions.

I forgot that Decaldoc has also 3 more versions for BMW E36. Two related with Nurburgring 24h (1998 diesel victory included) and Macau Watson's 1996 I think

I think is all for this model. Someone know more options?

Let's see if we will have TK for 1995 to 1998 versions (with other fender configurations) as Dragon 318i and 320i kits (based on Hasegawa moulds) are really difficult to find.

You can buy products of MSM Creations at several web shops, but maybe the best for that is Hobbyeasy as the web informs about next items available:
http://www.hobbyeasy.com/en/category/top/CAR.html

Of course, not all the references are still available, and some of them are out of stock.

About web site, it's easy:
http://www.msmcreation.com/

Related with the BMW 318 kit is this TK, under my opinion more than interesting:

Studio27 are also releasing the Photo-etch for this kit too! I think to be released mid-September.

I have one of the Schnitzer JTCC versions for a while but am also ordering another, just because there Limited addition release.

Revising old links, I have found other brand with some other decal options for BMW 318 / 320 liveries. This is Decal Works Studio, with some Macau versions. Curiously, San Miguel is also available (offered also by Studio 27 and MSM), but Motorola and Goldeneye versions looks interesting.

The question for me is that I'm not sure if MSM and this brand have something in common, and also with the new decal brand S.K. decals. Looking at their catalogues there are so many coincidences...
