Unhappy Geo Electrically Handicap

i have been without my geo about three weeks now . it died on me in the middle of traffic.it was as if i was driving along and decided to turn the key to the off position.i never lost power to my radio or lights .my clock never lost the correct time. the ignition fuse was blown though. we replaced the fuse and got the car started but it did again the same way.this time the replacement fuses all blew immediately upon turning the ignition over.has anyone experienced similar troubles? PLEASE help me remedy this situation.i am really missing my geo.i was told it could be the ignition module, a computer chip, the fuel pump was over heating which causes fuses to blow .if there's anyone out there that has ever experienced this or has any advice
PLEASE HELP ME .THANK YOU ,SHEILA

The fuse box under the hood has 2 relays. My geo did the same thing. I went to the junkyard and picked up a new fusebox with relays, and it never did it again. It's probably a bad fuel pump relay if it's blowing thr 15a FI fuse

Yep, I replaced the whole fuse box. Saves time on tryin to diagnose the bad relay, and it's still cheap
