Who is M & S Hobbies?

I was doing a search recently and came across the M & S Hobbies website. It looks like the kind of store I would like. Before I place an order I wanted to get some feedback from others here. Anyone had dealings with them?

Re: Who is M & S Hobbies?

Haven't bought from him directly but have the Eagle MkIII kit and have seen the Porsche 936 kit & 962 transkits. Seem to be very good quality and reasonable priced. Actually met Mark years ago when he was here for the old Strictly 43rd model contest in Chicago. Nice guy and enthusiastic modeler.

I've ordered a few PE sets from him and have had no problems. The owner, Mark, seems very helpful and reasonable.

Re: Who is M & S Hobbies?

He is a local SF bayarea guy. I have seen him at a bunch of local shows. He's a very nice guy, with a good selection of stuff. I have bought things from him at shows but not online. His website isn't the greatest, as I think he has more inventory than is listed. When I have asked him about things not on the website he says he has them or can get them.

Everything he has done is really nice. I have at least one of all of his IMSA Porsches. They are great transkits. I just got the 1984/5 longtail and it will look great in my collection. Beats me having to do the conversion hand down.

Thank you for the replies everyone! I now feel more comfortable placing an order knowing Mark has a well established, reputable company.

Re: Who is M & S Hobbies?

I placed an order for their -fantastic- decals last week. I got the goods in three working days (from USA to Italy!).
