hmmmmmm...

Well, it's been a month since I posted my first thread about the "Funny Little Sound". I've since had my Mini worked on by Motor City Mini. It took them two weeks to repair it. They replaced the clutch, trans. and one motor mount. Now I must say at this point that I've driven a manual trans. in all of my cars for about thirty years. When I was a teenager, I did do a little gear jamming. As an adult, I am very respectful and sweet to my cars. I know how to treat a manual trans. The dealership performed all of this work free of charge. Now that I have it back, it feels ....different. The clutch petal seems too easy to depress, and the stick gives me an odd feeling of fragility, for lack of a better word. All of this being said...I swear I heard that funny little sound today. I've been reading some of the feedback offered by a few of you regular, obviously knowledgable submitters. How about some feed back ...please. Thanks olishell Oh and remember..."Wherever you go... there you are."
