Question moms 91 premier is possesed

can anyone tell me why my moms battery keeps getting drained due to some weird draining of it when the car is turned off? she says everytime she turns off the radio, parks the car in the drive then the next time she goes to use the car, the radio is back on!. then she says the seat belts are real slow like theyre struggling, she got a brand new battery, and the next morning it was dead, something is draining her battery, and turning on the radio, now its not the radio because it never did it before last month, what on earth can be causing this electrical possesion? dad swears theres no test that can tell you what is wrong, well I disagree, but dad, being a mechanic thinks he does know it all, but surely something is being overlooked.
thanks for ANY suggestion.

THERE IS A TEST THAT CAN FIND OUT WHAT'S GOING ON. Have you tried checking out the cables? I think that you have a short circuit somewhere
