Hot off the press - check this out!
...the internationally-released GT-R's basic specs have been confirmed! Nissan is making a radical departure from traditional powerplants, giving the '07 GT-R not one, but two hydrogen-powered rotary engines (one in front, one in back), providing as estimated 5,000 horsepower at each wheel! In addition, the new chassis will not be an XVL-derivative, but based on the new Titan, a duallie no less. The new super-pickup will feature a one piece carbon fiber body with no windows. Drivers will navigate via a large plasma display showing a top-down view of the truck and its surroundings, courtesy of Japanese spy satellites. Go tell your friends. The info is rock solid. I say this will all confidence.

I also heard that there will be a supplied air tank because the entire cabin will an air tight vaccum. The tires will be made from pure South American tree rubber. Acceleration should be 0-60 in 1.4 seconds. Of course this is still just an estimate because road testing has not yet begun. |

GT500 inspired?
I'm starting to wonder if it will be a VQ30... since all the R&D is being done at the JGTC GT500?
Who knows! I'm just content that they are releasing such a beast in the US...

Nissan has said numerous times that they are going to bring the skyline over here, i wouldnt get excited until you see them at the dealership.
