sc300-400 questions?

i am planning on getting a car for drifting, and saw in the D1GP that there is that one red sc300, and i origionally had 2 cars on my list for possible cars i want, now that one is added but i have some questions about it.

its a V8 right? (srry im really stupid sometimes)
heavy, or light?
pretty fast? or fast enough?
turbo kits? do they have turbos? i dunno....
um, i guess anything else i need to know that would be important.

SC400 is the 4L quad cam v8
SC300 is (depending on which country you live)

a 3L NA or a 2.5L twinturbo (1jz-gte)

the sc400 is 148kw? and the sc300 (twin turbo) is 206kw

The sc400 has a full leather interior with HEAPS of luxury gear in there.

the SC300 still has a nice amount of luxury in it but the engine is assloads better. and sooooo much easier to mod.

the only prob with the SC's is that they are nearly all auto's.

heavyish cars due to all the extras.

V8 = fast enough
twin turbo = quite fast. + easy to mod to make it go like fuk

if ur willing to throw alot of money into it. there are a few twin turbo v8 SC400s that ive seen and they GO HARD!!!!!!!!!!! but that takes alot of cash.

go with the SC300 if it has the 2.5L twin turbo. if it doesnt. hold out till u find one.

I wieghed my sc300. 3750lbs. Heavy. Worst weight ratio out of all the "drift" cars out there too. while the 86 and s13 and s14's pull in around near 50/50 ( 47/53 ) sc's around around 65/35. That's why ueno is going to push his motor back a few inches in his new car. He's also gonna use a 2jz this time. Ueno is a freak when it comes down to making this boat a car. Besides the obvious loads of carbon fiber ie. Trunk, hood, and doors. He replaced all replacable bolts w/ titanium bolts. Haha Each bolt averaged around 15-20 bux a pop. With all of his efforts in all this.. He dropped the weight down to... around 3200 or so. Anyways... I'm thinking of selling my sc300. 5spd, green, supra tt wheels and seats. My buddy has a deal on one of his for me.
