2003 Olds Engine Light
Have a 2003 Olds Silhouette. The engine light came on so a friend of mine scanned it and we got p141
Can anyone tell me what that is and how to fix? Thanks Paul |

A smoke test will pin point any unmetered air leaks.

This points toward a wire heating problem within the circuit on the O2 sensor inserted into the exhaust system after the catalytic converter. This does not mean the O2 sensor needs replacing. There is a test that is performed to ensure the system is correct or not.

Re: 2003 Olds Engine Light
Thanks guys.
Since reading the code, and reseting it, the code has not come back. Will wait and see what may happen. Paul |
