'98 Corolla died while driving
I have a friend that has a '98 Corolla for a work car. While driving to work, the car suddenly stopped; went dead. He coasted to the shoulder. Tried to restart but engine wouldn't turn over. The only thing that showed on the dash was the Oil light when he turned the key on. After having it towed home, he found the STARTER fuse blown. Evidently, the STARTER fuse controls more than just the starter. After replacing the 15 amp fuse, all was back to normal.
