Re: 2.8 v6 need more power?? HELP!!

try this web page. It's just power tips for the 2.8, and 3.1L engines
http://users.spec.net/home/emxjc/performance.html

just a warning that the 2.8L is kinda known as a slug, and it's pushing around a fair amount of weight.

2.8l

I tried everything to get enough power out of my 2.8l and the only thing that worked was to get rid of it and get a truck with a 4.3l.The difference between the 2 motors is night and day.

I understand that a 3.4L chev from a comaro is a bolt in, and all your 2.8L stuff like headers will fit right on, but not nessasarily stuff like alternators so get a complete motor.

An electric water pump is never reccomended for a daily. For track yes, but never for regular use.
