300zx progress thread
Hi guys. I'm tuning my dream car this time. Progress is gonna be slow and slower, so don't write every 5 minutes: "what's new???"
The car nissan 300zx 1:18 kyosho. Came to me with a busted rear window. I stripped the paint. The first thing I'm doing is custom wheels 100% scratch. I already hawe the dishes 75% made. Pics: Bye. |

Re: 300zx progress thread
G-man you are gonna have to wait a long time.
The rims were originally a 30mm aluminum tube. Cut into pieces on a lathe, and made those cut-outs for tires. Then i made a nice quarter-round lip, and polished 2 hours with a air propelled dremel like tool. It looks like a mirror, but there are some minor defects. Minor as I said. Now I'm gonna make the spokes oyt of styrene, and duplicate with a form and epoxy glue. BTW the rims will be RH J8 PRO replicas, my favorite rims for the last year. I also bought an airbrush so I hope to learn how to use it kinda soon. Cheers, AMNES |

Re: 300zx progress thread
does this one have carpet and all that? is it a typical kyosho where it is fairly highly detailed?
