99 Camry passenger window
Hello, I have a 99 Camry le 4door car. I recently bought a new motor and regulator. Reason being is the old one quit working one day. It rolled up just a little at a time then stopped before it closed completely. So I plugged the new assembly in to the harness and nothing. All other windows have power coming from the driver side cluster, door locks work fine as well. Passenger front window will do nothing from either switch. Can anyone help me?

Re: 99 Camry passenger window
Sounds like the drivers MASTER WINDOW CONTROL switch is bad. Check with either a test light or a multi-meter, and see of your getting power to the passenger side switch. Hook up your test equipment, go to the drivers side and try the switch. See if your getting power and ground. If not, then test the passenger side wiring on the drivers side MWC harness.
Most of the time, if it was working before, and suddenly not working, then you either have bad window regulator/motor, or a bad MWC. Good luck. |

I have a '97 Oldsmobile Aurora with that problem. I found out the window tracks needed some grease. And that did the trick.
