06 Camry?
Hello, I just looked at a 06 camry at 136k mileage. The guy had it for 5 years and put around 30k on it. Never changed transmission fluid (although looks clear and red) and I think the air filter needs replacement as MAF reads around 1.8L for a 2.4L V4. (No codes and no inc mil). The problems include the brake needing to be pressed a bit less than half way down before actually braking. The brake fluids were full, a bit over the max line (I don't think he topped the brake fluid off), so my guess is it needs bleeding. Another thing is rough idling (high at start up and varying afterwards). The engine also shakes occasionally after coming to a stop. The price is 6.5k. Do yall think these aren't expensive fixes? I heard that the 06 camrys are some of the best years with less complaints.*

Re: 06 Camry?
In general: $6500 with engine issues? I'd look elsewhere, or get the price down below $4k(depending on trim level). Might need a sensor or two or maybe just spark plugs.
More specific: Which engine? For that year the 2.4 can be a serious oil burner if it didn't have an aggressive oil change regimen. Some of the V6 transmissions had problems. Any engine codes? Will it pass emissions? But if it's n good shape otherwise, might be a good one to grab.
