Since restarting this hobby I’ve spent a small fortune. I’ve had to buy a lot of paint, tools, glues, spray guns etc.. Plus I’ve brought around 10 kits, mostly from ebay. It’s been costly, and I would reckon around £300 + so far.
Thankfully, I’ve got many paints, glues and materials now, so I’m hoping the cost will reduce. I can’t afford to get much more, and thankfully I’ve got loads of kits now. And HiroBoy - $500 for one kit - you must have wanted that one..!! Almost as much as me spending on stuff getting set back up again. Oh - I've also been cheap, by using a homemade spray booth, and using automotive primers..!! Need to save where I can. As for how teenagers afford it, I can only think that the paper rounds pay good money now-a-days. Model building is expensive..!! |

I probably spent less than $400.00 dollars making this one.
But that doesn't count tools, (big and small), or time. Scratchbuilding can save you lots of money... - Mark |
