battery problem 94 vr

hi everyone just seeing if anyone has any ideas for me on my vr acclaim i know when you drive the car the battery charges fine so its not altenator but if the car sits overnight something drains power out of battery i cant see any lights on or anything when the car is sitting there so i hope someone has got an idea because i am out of them........

take you neg battery cable off and put volt meter on it. Put one lead on the neg post on the battery and the other lead on the neg cable. You have a parasitic drain somewhere. This test will tell you how big of a drain and maybe where to start looking for the drain.

could just be the battery is dead. as you drive and it charges, the electrical system runs off the alternator. the battery may have enough to run the car and start it for each day but can die overnight.

my bike has a similar problem. i have no drain on the battery but over 2 days the battery loses enough power so i can't start it. new battery for a bike $230. trickle charger and conditioner $35.

let me know if you fond problem,ive got same problem,pulled all fuses, relays, but still 12v drain.will be investigating more on weekend
