indiglo guages
I just bought a 97 cavalier for my son, it has indiglo guages which in 3 days have quit working. there is a black wire that was just wrapped through a screw hole in a piece of metal like it was for a ground, when the guages stopped lighting up, we tried crimping an end on the wire and screwing it down to get a better ground but it still wont work. if you tap the wire in metal it will flash on and off as long ad you are tapping it. does anyone have any suggestions? please help....

Re: indiglo guages
ground it somewhere better. Lol.... If its flashing when you are tapping it then its obviously a grounding issue. Strip some fresh wire back and ground it to some bare steel. You can use the dash tube frame if you want. thats grounded to the frame.
