honda parts, local pickup, WA state
ok, I need to get rid of these parts, I wanna hold on to em cuz I want them for future projects but I guess I can always buy again when I actually have the time and the money available to do so.
DOHC ZC, it runs good but blows blue smoke now and then and mixes water with oil, had the head surfaced and installed a new head gasket and got back my compression but didnt fix the oil/water problem. it is a complete longblock. I will sell it for 150.00 94 civic LX 5 speed, S20 I think is the code,I will verify it tomorrow. has I think 15x,xxx on it, pulled it out of the parts car I bought that was owned by a girl who wrecked the car but transmission shifts perfect, no grinds at all, has the shift arm and the slave cylinder on it. I will sell it for 100.00 I have a 1994 B18B head, complete with cams, followers, caps, etc. also comes with head studs and valve cover, pulled it off of a running engine and it was working fine. had about 125k on it. Ill sell it for 200.00 I have a B20B shortblock, it has 1300 mile old JE 11:1 custom pistons, the wrist pin slid in #1 and it needs to be bored/re-sleeved (gonna run around 160-170 for the sleeve plus labor at the local machine shop) it was knocking quietly before I pulled it, opened it up and saw the grooves so I threw the B18 back in and havent looked deeper into the B20 so not sure what the knocking was. engine was a little opver 900 shipped to my house and pistons ran me 600, I will let this go for 400.00 I will combine the ZC and tranny for 200.00 and I will throw the B18 head in with the B20 shortblock for 500.00 I live off the west coast of WA state, around mukilteo/ebverett/lynwood. zip is 98236 if you wanna see how far it is, I can meet you somewhere inbetween if you arent far but it will be the cost of parts plus 15 dolars for my roundtrip ferry ride and 10 cents a mile to cover my fuel. also I can only take the tranny, head, shortblock for sure, might be able to get the longblock in the back of my car but no guarantees.

Re: honda parts, local pickup, WA state
well I dont wanna go any less than 400 for the engine, Im already losing ALOT there. as for the tranny, it wont bolt up to the B series block.
if you need the tranny for something else and still want both Ill let em go for 450

Re: honda parts, local pickup, WA state
it wont be bad, it just wont work, the civic tranny bolts up to d series engines, the B20 is a b series engine so it needs integra trannies, or a civic SI, del sol VTEC tranny, JDM CTR tranny, those are the trannies that will work in a hydro car with a B series swap, you could get older B series cable trannies and swap em inot a hydro car but you need the cable/hydraulic conversion from hasport for the clutch to function.
as far as I know the only problem was that the wristpin walked into the cylinder and put the grooves in it which is why it needs to be bored out and resleeved. I got a quote from jim greens(its over on like 212th I think) for about 180 dollars for the sleve and the labor. I heard this weird noise that sounded lie a garden water fountain kinda, weird noise and I asked my neighbor what he thought it was and he said sounded like a wrist pin, tore off the head and he was right, amazing how people can diagnose problems like that from just listening for a few seconds. didnt have the time or the money right then to fix it and now Im moving and cant haul everything with me.

Re: honda parts, local pickup, WA state
as long as its the del sol VTEC with the DOHC VTEC B16 and not the SI with the SOHC VTEC D16
