2005 Dodge Charger rear-end spy shot (not covered)

http://img11.exs.cx/img11/6263/rearshot31pt.jpg

it's just a V6 model, their will be 6 different trim lines. The '2006' Charger Daytona SRT-8 has 6.1 hemi, 6-spd, awd option, 475-500hp...

Look for a SWB RWD Coupe based off the LX cars in 2007, called the Dodge Cuda

Yea dude, I totally agree with you, that is one of the most fugliest cars I've seen, dodge really needs some new designer, cuz I don't know why anyone would every call that thing a charger

Re: 2005 Dodge Charger rear-end spy shot (not covered)

You guys sound like the GTO-haters, too! Lots of die-hard Pontiac guys are pissed about GTO. Well, at least it isn't a 4-door. I AM a bit disappointed. I was hoping Dodge could actually make a return to the muscle car crowd. A friend had said he saw a Charger in a spyshot on TV, and it wasn't retro. Well, THAT'S a good thing. But he never said it was a 4-door. Damn...
I don't like Stratus for the same reason. 4 doors. Why not Avenger with a hemi? And RWD? They might have something there! This thing won't turn heads away from Taurus or Lumina, much less Mustang and GTO. WHAT were they thinking???

Re: 2005 Dodge Charger rear-end spy shot (not covered)

i agree those look effing ugly. I am a diehard GTO fan, and i agree they look nothing like the classic ones, and two they were designed in Alstraila. It's like America can't come out with a good muscle car other than the ford Thunderbird Mustang, Pontiac Firebird and Chevy Corvette, those are 4 REAL Muscle cars. What the fuck is with the 4 door body?
i never saw an older charger that was 4 doors

I posted about this in another thread, but ran across this:

The Chief Engineer of the new Dodge Charger will be taking questions in a live chat on Thursday night 9pm ET/6pm ET. Chat with Burke Brown, Chrysler Group's Chief Engineer of the Rear-wheel-drive Platform Team, about the all-new 2006 Dodge Charger. http://www.edmunds.com/townhall/chat/dodgechargerchat011305.html (no registration needed for the chat)

That's ugly, and the GTO was real ugly. The mustang is the only car that I think did a good job recapturing its past, and I'm not even a ford fan.

I strongly dislike Ford and even I must say, they did a far better job on the Mustang than either Pontiac or Dodge. I saw the 1999 concept, THAT should have been rushed into production as the new charger rather than this piece of crap.

Re: 2005 Dodge Charger rear-end spy shot (not covered)

I agree with all of you this new charger is a peice of crap that is a disgrace to the charger name, I mean a 4 door, that's not a muscle car, I also agree with the 99 concept idea, now that was a hot "new" charger but no they had to come out with this peice that looks more like a dodge version of the chrysler 300 instead of a charger. If there is any part of the new charger that ressembles the old chargers (other than the name) let me know because i don't think there is a ressemblence at all.
