Degradation of exterior

I own a '99 3.2 TL, bought it two years ago certified through an Acura dealer. Within the last several months I have started to notice that the black trim vertical on the driver and passenger windows is starting to discolor. I also just noticed that the film on the rear bumper is starting to peel. I'm sure this has to do with exposure to sun, but I'm really not happy about it since I wash and wax the vehicle regularly. Is anyone else having similar problems? Has anyone been successful in getting Acura to cover it? I have 48,000 miles on the car.

Also, the rubber around all of the windows appears to be deteriorating, but local Acura dealer says it's just mold that can be cleaned with a solution called Black Again, which I can't find anywhere. Anyone heard of this product and know where I can buy it?

any black plastic parts or rubber parts are going to deteriorate if you dont' take care of them. you need to be applying armor all whenver you was and wax your car, this holds the life of the plastic and rubber pieces. i've never heard of the mold problem, if you ask me is BS from the dealership. armor all those puppies and they should be fine

armor all is the worst protectant that money can buy it contains acohol, dries out any materal in direct sunlight. My window trims around my doors are also becoming discolored and peeling.. I found out its a sticker that acura puts on.. why cant they just stick to paint?
