glove box

i am in the process of putting a psOne into my glove box, and would really like to sink it in. is there anyway of removing the glovebox? from what i see it is one solid piece all across the dash.. any suggestions?

the door comes off, thats about it. Other wise its molded into the whole dash plastic unit thingy
