2000 mountaineer anti-theft
hello, i had to replace the ignition cylender on my sons truck we got it all together and when we turn the key on everything works but the anti-theft will not let the vehicle start is there a way to bypass the anti-theft or do i have to have it towed to dealler to have it reset thanks

There is no way to bypass the system. Did you make sure to get the new antenna ring installed properly around the perimeter of the new key cylinder switch, and make sure to plug it all in properly? You might try another key for the vehicle if you have one and see if it starts. Maybe you have a bad transponder key.
