My 4.3l is giving me problems.....

so i decided to upgrade to a 5.3l from a 2001 tahoe




right now its in pieces and im cleaning it up, due to financial reasons ill be keeping it stock for now just making sure nothing is damaged and replacing the gaskets, first upgrade will be a cam change though....

Nice choice, the LS motors make great power for the price. Have fun with the wiring though .

yea there's a reason why i chose mechanical engineering instead of electrical engineering, so im kinda screwed on that part haha

Not exactly "painless" but a custom harness like that makes it a bit easier.
