Unhappy 300M steering wheel shaking and pulling right?.

Hi for the past week my steering wheel has been shaking while driving and if I let go of the steering wheel, it pulls to the right. I have a 2 year old boy and it's the only car I have. I just want to make sure my tires are not going to bust out while i'm picking up my son from daycare.

I'm desperate, please help.

Thanks
Sandra

Re: 300M steering wheel shaking and pulling right?.

Sandra,

You could have a few things wrong. It may be the bushings for your front end which is relatively inexpensive. You may have some other front end parts that have gone bad, such as tie rods, or it may be as simple as out of balance wheels (which is real cheap and easy to detect), Do you have a good mechanic? Try a tire store for a wheel balance first. Don't let them try to fool you - they probably won't - but if it is expensive have them write an estimate and then come back here for more advice.
