did the delta use the FIAT twincam?
....was the 16 valve head in the later models a fiat head or was that exclusive to Lancia?

I dont think it was a FIAT unit. from what ive read, it was developed by Abarth specially for the integrale

Yes it did... Tipo 16V as the same engine as the Nuova Delta 2.0 16V and Nuova Delta 2.0 16V Turbo... the same as in the grale

The engine was fiat derived, i personally didnt think it was identical to the Tipo's.

16 v
16 valve head was designed by Abarth for Lancia Beta Coupe World Rally Car in the mid 70's.
Those heads retail now for 10.000 euro's...... Ciao |
