1977 Corvette Horn not working?
My horn is not working,, after replacing the relay switch, the horn still does'nt work, I can not find a fuse or a fuse link for it,, When I hit the horn button it clicks which I would think means it is getting the electric. Thanks ,,

Re: 1977 Corvette Horn not working?
Is the horn self-grounded?
If you want, pull the horn and clean both surfaces with a wire brush, then check the connection and then reattach the horn securely |

Quote:
If you pull the horn for connection cleaning also connect it to a battery or charger, it will work if it is good. |

Re: 1977 Corvette Horn not working?
Some use only one connection only which is positive. The bolt that attaches the horn to the chassis is negative. If this is the case then attach a battery lead wire from positve to the connection and another lead from the negative battery to the bolt hole.
If it has two connection points, then one is positive and the other is negative. Attach a battery lead wire from positive to any connection and another from negative to the other terminal. Leads may have to be reversed if the horn doesn't work. If horn dosen't work then replace the horn. |

Re: 1977 Corvette Horn not working?
I know this is really going to sound like a dumb question, but where is the horn on my '81 Vette? My horn recently quit working, and I haven't gotten a chance to get under the car yet. I've looked under the hood but could not find it. Thanks
