Trust me I race bikes all the time, I know how they pull.
R1, hayabusa those bikes beat me, but not by much over 220Kph. I is very close at those speeds.

750's are a little quicker to 160kph but then I start pulling away.

600's I am faster at any speed over 100KPH

Of course I never race from a dead stop, the bike's would eat me alive..
Usually from 100-130kph (60-80mph).

Trust me, the guy on the ZX-6R was bringing it to redline every gear, powershifting, the works.... I don't think you realize how fast a Z06 really is....

A stock Z06 will get eaten by bikes, badly. I know, I drive and race against my uncles all the time.

Even starting at 100kph a new generation 600cc sportbike will easily pull away until about 200kph where the CDA gets the better part of the bike and you will SLOWLY start to make up ground.

A 750cc sportbike, im guessing you are referring to the gixxer750, would absolutely destroy you all the way to about ... 240kph

And on a 1 liter... unless the rider leaves it in 6th gear... byebye.

I know a Z06 is damn fast for a stock car, but bikes just have too damn high of a hp/weight ratio.

trust me, I race bikes all the time, been years...

Listen, when these guys are doing 10.5 sec 1/4 times on the track, they know how to drive... the same guys after the drags races, on the street, when you see them shifting as fast as they can, bringing it to the red every gear, this means they are trying very hard...

so i race a lot of these guys..
power to weight ratio is less and less benificial the faster you go...
I kill any stock 600 over 70MPH with my stock Z06.
Even beat a brand new Honda 599 from a 35mph hit.

and when they don't know how to drive, like not bringing it to the proper gear and so on, I smoke them really bad, but I don't count those races cause i know the bike can do way better....

They can't all be shit drivers...

Re: ZX-6R and ZX-6RR

I own a 2003 ZX6RR and I'v done 145mph in 5th gear without redlining. Of course that’s not stock performance. I have a full Devil racing exhaust, an Element racing air filter, RK race chain, double bubble, etc.. I’m 6’1 and weigh 155-160. This bike easily outruns an R6 which was regeared with 1- sprocket, aftermarket slip on etc.. (same body type rider) .
According to Kawasaki the ZX6RR more than makes up for 36 cc with technological engine design and overall performance. Exclusive to the RR is the back-torque limiter which prevents during comer entry (=higher acceleration), a new close ratio transmission, light weight forged pistons, longer rod length and shorter stroke. The chassis is more track oriented.
If you don't care about performance, go out and test ride a few bikes and see which one feels more comfortable, after all most likely you will never push either of these bikes to the limit unless you go out to the track and do some serious racing.

Hope this helps.
Ride safe
