Majestic products

I would just like to take a minute to let everyone know about Majestic audio. I was at the wholesale warehouse I use, and I saw a new brand I hadn't seen before. 10 inch 200W RMS subs $40, 12's are 400W for $55...I picked up the 10, put it in a sealed box, with 300W RMS into it and I COULD NOT blow it up, or even get it to distort. A few weeks later I decided i'd try their 6.5 coaxials. again, i was very surprised. non-paper cones, nice size magnet, good sound.
So, i dont know if anybody has tried Majestics products, but their speakers and woofers seem to be pretty good. the HU's look pretty cheesey, but hey, they're cheap

Re: Majestic products

You get what you pay for, i havent used them so i cant say much but these companies come and go with out being heard of, and alot of them make crap while a few make some awsome stuff.

But judging from what you have a volfenhag and a lightning your fairly new to the car audio industry, im not flaming you cause what sounds good to you might not to me so its all your opinion.

Don't ever look at cars as just imports or domestics. Just because a car is made in a certain country doesn't mean that it is anything like another car from that country. An example of this is Mitsubishi reliability, just because they are Japanese doesn't mean that they are as reliable as a Honda or Toyota.

Re: Majestic products

majestic has been around for a while...
my wife had a majestic head, 6's and 6x9's in her old car...
I heard 'em in action, and I personally think all that sh?t is garbage...
all that sh?t's been sitting in my garage for about five years now...

Re: Majestic products

My stuff sounds ok to me. I do have bass blockers on the 6.5's. My amp, complete sh?t. I had it laying around from someone owing me money, and after my Alpine system got jacked it's all I had. I'm buying a new amp soon, thank god.

Re: Majestic products

Yeah, I had 2 Alpine Type E's, RF fronts, Pioneer rears, and an Alpine cda-9847. I then upgraded to the Type R's, moved out of my all Hispanic neighborhood where I was the minority, moved into an all-white neighborhood and promptly got jacked. And to think, people blame the Mexicans for that kind of stuff :O
