Bah, you have an automatic. You can make Luos look stupid for the amount of money he put into his car. Buy some gears, CAI, Long Tube Headers, a cam, and a 3000+ stall converter w/ drag radials, and i'll guarantee you make Luos time look bad. That's why I hate automatic cars. It's soo easy, and the drivers claim it's their skill

Re: 03/04 Cobra

Unless he starts looking at low 11's...he won't make me look bad.

We all know what kind of disadvantage I have here in Denver. Freaking density altitude for that 12.3 pass was 8500.
Adjust that to a DA of zero and I run 10.7 at 130.
If you would like, I can link you to the calculator and give you the weather conditions.

Get this....Even if I get a perfect DA here (5800) instead of the 8500, I correct to an 11.8 at 119.

Yeah we have a track called Palmdale where I am at. It's at 2700ft. elevation, but has a Density Altitude typically in the 5-6K feet density altitude (It's hot as F, as it is in the desert ~ 110 degrees outside, much hotter on the track). I remember going there w/ my former Z28 and only running a 14.0 sec. 1/4 mile at 102mph. People laughed their heads off at my times, but I saw mustangs barely breaking into high 14's there (Cobras too). Most people don't know that altitude affects cars, so I gave up on arguing with them. That's why I go to sea level tracks. No reason to go to a track and run crappy times that everyone will make fun of, even if you are smoking Vipers at that same track. Go figure.

Yeah high DA sucks ass. I ran a best of 11.96 @118mph with my fist cam no heads stock cubes. BUT it was a just little over sea level. I think my car will be sold tomorrow though and a little FRC vette will be on the horizon. 490rwhp in a 3000lb race weight car....

Got a new personal best...12.324 at 115.55.
Weather conditions were HORRIBLE. DA was around 8500.
Finally got her outta the hole decent today though. 1.868 short time.
On the Nitto's, not the M/T's.
Me either, only saw two at Woodward, and only one was cruising. I did however smoke a WS6 At a light I got some sarcastic comments about my truck, something to the effect of "Oooh, let's see what you can do supercharged Dakota boy". He got a good view of my tailgate, for a few seconds at least, after that it was too far away for him to see M&H's ftw

Congrats on the new best, that's smokin' for your elevation.
