1957 Chevy Belair In Mexico
Ok Whats Up. I Am New This This Thing So. But Yheas I Gotta Question. I Found A 1957 Chevy Belair In Mexico And I Need To Know If I Can Register It Here In The California. Plz I Need Help Cuz This Car Is My Dream Car. Its A 2 Door Convertible. So Any Info Would Help Thanx

Call your US Customs office and see what the duties are in importing an old car. Sometimes when cars are past a certain age, the import duties are less or non - existent.
You also could call a shipping broker or trucking company that specialises in importing cars. They may able to handle the shipping and the documentation for you. My biggest concern is that the title is clean. Huge quantites of stolen cars have ended up in Mexico. You don't want to spend the $$$ to buy it and find out the Mexican ownership is forged or wothless. Again, a shipping broker can advise you further. |
