Help on bodykit
I'm going to get a model (airfix) car and i want to make a bodykit for it
i don't know what to use (i've seen the word styrene a lot) or how to do it (i didn't understand the tutorial by rtuned--i'm a bit dim--) is there anything that will be easy for me to get (in england) and cheap, and a tutorial? thanx ben

Re: Help on bodykit
It's very easy. Just buy some styrene and some putty and follow the tutorial. It can't be hard to understand IMO, even if you're unexperienced. Styrene and putty should be available in your LHS (Local Hobby Store, I mean, you're dim you said ) Feel free to ask in the FAQ and Tutotials unanswered question.

Re: Help on bodykit
Look through the complete/in progress section for some custom models. For instance, search for Chrismcgee Do-Luck R34. He shows pictures every step of the way, it gives you a great idea of what to do.

Re: Help on bodykit
Use styrene to make the ducts and what not. Use a little putty to smooth areas and joints.

Re: Re: Help on bodykit
It's always good to use a test body as well to try out different styles, without ruining your current project.
