Can i swap my 1.8L flat four for a 2.0 turbo WRX engine and tranny?

I have a 1994 Impreza wagon L with the anemic 1.8 liter engine and 5 speed manual transmission that will need a new engine pretty soon. my question is, what engines are compatible with this car without major modification? which should fit with stock motor mounts? will a 2.2 NA four fit? what about a 2.5 NA? 2.0 Turbo from a WRX? thanks in advance.
