cheap sub

ok guys i had planned on a tempest... and now that i have money i actually thought about buying two.. but somebody said that the tempests might be kinda cheaply manufactured and they have spider problems or other problems like this..

point is i guess.. what should i do.. has anybody else heard of problems liek this?? even if not is there something better i could do with my money than 2 tempests.. i wasnt looking to spend more than 250 or so on the sub but if its worth it i can scrape about 300 together... any other suggestions as to what you guys would do with this kind of budget?

also ive considered other subs like an RE SX, SE, and ascendant atlas 15.. but suggestions would be helpful (or do you just think i should still go with the tempest(s)?)

Re: cheap sub

if you have the room I would spring for the tempest, if not maybe an IDQ15 instead. The RE SE 15 will probably be slightly louder but I doubt the SQ will be as good, same goes for the RE 12's.

Re: cheap sub

adire recommends 3-4.5, so I think right around 4 should be prime
