That is awesome work. Where do you get all those parts from, can I order over the internet? I haven't heard of a lot of the things that you mention.

Woooooaawwww
Another incredible nascar (or nascar-like) build looking like real car building !! Hey all nascar builders, which planet are you from at all ??? I thought I was a modeler, but when I see such builds I feel like a joker... Very incredible work, impressive model you're building here. |

Re: WIP:Greg Anderson's Vegas General NHRA Pro Stock
Thanks for all the positive comments!
I started in on the dry sump oiling system. After routing all the oil lines, I decided I wasn't happy with the look, and removed them all and started over. Try #2 looked better, but I ran into fit issues once the engine was mocked-up into the chassis, so they were removed again. So what you see is actually my third attempt to route all these braided lines! I used Pro Tech braid, fittings, and their new Distributor kit and Demon carbs. The oil tank was turned a while back. I also added a remote oil filter, and plumbed it into the system as well. The oil lines are pretty much done, then it's on to the fuel system and plumbing the massive dual carbs. And a few mocked up in the engine bay...... ClayK

Simply mind blowing!!
I can't even begin to imagine how this level of quality building is humanly possible?! For me it would need to 24/1 scale and I'd still need to use a robotic arm! I am very much looking forward to seeing what's next

Wait a minute! There's a line where the decals end and the paint begins?!

Re: WIP:Greg Anderson's Vegas General NHRA Pro Stock
Holy *bleep*....
That is one heck of a engineering masterpeice. And that paint job! Yikes! Are you using R/C parts for the suspension and steering? I'm curious though... did you put the CF decals on the chassis before or after the roll cage was installed? Because from the sequence of your pics.. it seems like you did it after!! Quote:

Re: WIP:Greg Anderson's Vegas General NHRA Pro Stock
OH my this is completely insane. Its like watching a real prostocker be built. the chassis work is amazing. Awesome job on the paint and decals as well. I'll be following this closely to see it come together
