6G72 Turbos?

Hey, my friend has a 1993 mitsubishi Diamante, and he's looking to hook it up w/ some power. Im wondering if the kits from a 3000GT or stealth would fit. And if so, let me know where to get them.

Thanks,
G-man422

C'mon people. just list me some common turbos used on the engine. Anything you think would be useful info.

Re: 6G72 Turbos?

There are no 3000gt turbo 'kits'. At least not until you are looking at going HUGE TD05 turbos, which is probably way more than you are looking for with a diamante. The stock turbos on a vr4 are twin TD04-9B turbos. Those are probably what you are looking for, and can be found real cheap on ebay, from a member here, or on 3si.

Now I have no idea what kind of internals or CR the diamante has, so boost at your own risk.

But here are some sites for doing the TT conversion on NA 3000gt/stealths.
So they maybe of some use, in figuring out what parts you will need.

http://www.3sxperformance.com/faq/tt...partslist.html
has a basic parts list.

http://www.bobthegreat.com/pages/myc...rbo/index.html
awesome site by bob the great with lots of picture tutorials

Also check out 3si's FWD forced induction forum, wholy devoted to TT conversions:

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.
