Question General Mitsubishi Inquery?

For general informational purposes...
I would like to hear from Mitsubishi owners on their satisfaction, recommendations, dislikes, constructive criticisms, or comments concerning their past and present Mitsubishi vehicles.

Thank You All In Advance For Your Input.

The turbo ones are fast as hell. Every car has it's quirks, whether it is sucky timing belts or walking crankshafts. <<<Both the quirks of the turbo eclipses. Some dealers have great service, and others are so bad that the common name of satan is a compliment. I am a Mitsu die hard though, and I love them. They aren't scared to through a high performance model out there. They got rid of the turbo eclipses and now they are bringing the Evo. I love any company that keeps turbo cars in the line up.

I would say my ride's slow but very reliable. All I've done since getting her & putting over 10 grand on her(miles), is replace the belts & do a valve job. Also, I get about 270 miles on a tank.
Bout' the most reliable car I've ever had.

THE ONLY REAL FLAW IS THE T.B. INJ. . AFTER '83 THOUGH STARIONS HAD M.P.(MULTI PORT INJ.) AND HIGHLY UPGRADABLE, MUCH EASIER TOO. THEVE GOT STRONG 8V 2.6L 4 CYL. REAR WHEEL DRIVE (SOME 4WD) AND 2 DIFF. BODY STYLES(FLAT/WIDE BODY)

I've got an '01 Mirage DE Coupe. In the two years since I've taken it off the dealer's lot I've put over 56K miles on it. I looked into modifying it, but it's not worth the money to do so... or, I should say, I don't have the money that it would take to do so. The only complaint I have about the car is the Mitsubishi curse: quarky transmissions. Sometimes mine will pop out of first gear when starting from a stop sign or light

Like most of the people on this board, I'm a diehard Mistu fan... I still follow the activities of Alistair McRae and the Mitsubishi Rally team... and, if I had a spare $35,000 I would have bought an Evo VIII.
