I think before you go out and decide on all the brand name parts you want, take a hard look at what you want out of the car and what it's main purpose will be. Street car, drag car, road course, daily driver, weekends, show car, trailer queen, etc.?

The parts you listed are mostly great parts, but some of them will not work with others.

This is an impossible combo, can't have a 5-speed with an AOD.

You also talked about running a carb, but then other parts are listed as EFI parts.

Start small. Find and buy a car first, then do some research on what works best for your application. What parts work best in combination with other parts. It's all about building the optimal combo to suit your needs and goals. Beginning areas for alterations would be, new gears, full exhaust, then start on induction, and suspension.
