One car I did love
But it wasn't while I was in high school. It was my grandfather's 1973 Oldsmobile Cutlass. Maroon exterior, snow white interior. The car was beautiful. When he passed, soon after getting it, my grandmother kept it. She would drive it once a week a mile, not even to the market, and back, and once a year up to my part of NY.
When she went into a nursing home in 1994, I kept the car. It has 18,800 miles on it. I had that car in car shows, etc around my area, and parts of NY and NJ. Unfortunately, despite many part replacements, the car wasn't used to being used more often and it was accustomed, and it died. I was able to get a good price for it for parts, and for even body parts. It was in pristine condition. Any scratches and minor ticks, I had taken out when I got it. It had never been in any accidents. God, that car had so many happy memories for me. www.rocklandcjp.com

Re: The car we most dispise from our high school,or work.
There's this kid at the HS i used to go to. He has a Ford Probe 5spd 4-cylinder, with a loud ass fart can and an Intake.. well, he's always revving it in front of me and my buddies... one of my buddies has a Ford Probe 6-cylinder and raced against this kids 4-cylinder Probe. He kills him and after the race, the 4-cyl. Probe driver comes up to the 6-cyl. probe driver and says "Damn, that things fast!!! What do you have under the hood?" replys "I have a stock V6 engine" the kids goes "WTF!!! Probes come V6!!" The next day, he's trying to sell his 4-cyl. probe... haha.. funny stuff..

Re: The car we most dispise from our high school,or work.
there were a lot of drug dealers in my high school, so they had hydros, and rims, and I didnt know much about cars then (I still dont either, but I know a hell of a lot more) so I thought Honda Civics were bad ass... until I actually learned about them.. anyways, I had a best friend who stole drugs and drug money, and sold the stolen drugs, and got himself a 99 v tech civic and his daddy put 2 15s in his trunk and a 7 inch monitor from his car stereo store, and I actually liked the car, it was nice I had to admit, but then he traded it in for a brand new 2001 IS 300 after junior year, and of course daddy hooked him up with titanium eclipse 12's 3 kenwood amps, tweeters, monitors... yada yada yada, and after we switched schools to play for a different basketball team, everybody asked me about him, so I lied and said he was a good guy, and once he got a good reputation he started talking shit about me to everyone, so I decided I would burn his car to the ground because I knew he had no insurance. whether I did it or not I wont say.

Re: The car we most dispise from our high school,or work.
OK, here's one; all of the b**chy little cars that the ladies drive where I work. I didn't know that there was at least one model, from any given car company, in any given year since 1995 that comes in that tacky "pearl" white.
-untill I arrived in Phoenix, of course. Lessee, Altima, RAV 4 (?), MR2, some Monte Carlo-looking thing, and a thunderbird, of course. The list goes on. Ooh yeah, there's nothing like pulling into the parking lot to see all that white metallic shimmering through the filmed-over satin-dull clearcoats of gimmicky little cars that have (never) been hand washed. Re: The car we most dispise from our high school,or work.
Here in MA, everyone has a frickin Honda Civic! Everyone thinks that they are so cool cuz they have the same car as my grandma, and the sad thing is that other people think they are cool as well! I can see how a Civic can be respectable if it is fully tricked out, but a stock Civic or any honda sedan for that matter is nothing special.

Re: The car we most dispise from our high school,or work.
I think its actually when you don't have a car. I don't have a car because my parents wouldn't let me buy one. Heck, they don't even let me work!!
I sometimes find myself drooling all over this primer gray 1989 Hyundai Excel. Everything here in Toronto is basically rice. Though my favourite car in the school parking lot is a sleeper S13 hatch (belongs to a Math teacher) and a bone stock Sube SVX (belongs to a very, very hot girl)

I think the car everyone must despise in my 1990 F250 dsl beatup truck. It's my first car, so I can't b*tch to much. All I can say is she is a beast and is loud as hell. The only to mods I have done to it(even though they aint really mods, more like screw-ups) Is the right door I smashed in by backing into a garage door and it caught my mirror, so now it is a blue door. The right rear panel is all pushed in about a couple inches and has green paint on it from the garage door. I have a pix of it in my gallary...

yes, my car is ricey...but american rice...
anyways, yeah, i can't stand ricers either(i'm not saying i hate myself, because i bought this car with most of the mods already done), but what i really can't stand are those huge trucks that are lifted so high that the are useless for their intended purpose, off-roading. they're just way too top heavy for real off-roading. lots of kids at my high school had those, and because i live in civilized mountains, you have either rice or truck. now i would have to say that the driver makes up almost half of my judgement of the car. i watched one of my friends from work drift his 93 POS Escort like a pro and my view of the car went up a few notches. and i watched a kid still in high school drive his 65 stang like a little bitch and i hated him for it...it made me glad i never talked to him when i went to high school.

Re: The car we most dispise from our high school,or work.
The only thing i cant stand is when you see a sunfire a cavalier or a escort with a fucking fart can and a bodykit and that supposed to make the car better than it actually is there slow and ugly why try and help it. Yeah its cool to customize but when you take a car with no racing purpose and try to make it faster it doesnt do shit. Theres a 2002 cavalier 2 door with a turbo and it only runs a 15.
